کارِ وحشت پہ خاک ڈالو میاں
اس اذیت کا حل نکالو میاں !
دل لگانے چلے ہو بے دل سے
اس سے اچھا ہے زہر کھا لو میاں !
تم کو لگتی تھی زندگی آسان
اتنی آساں ہے تو سنبھالو میاں !
ویسے بنتی ہیں لعنتیں لیکن
گا لو، تم بھی ترانے گا لو میاں !
اب نہیں ہے تو اس کو جانے دو
تم کہیں اور دل لگا لو میاں !
ہجر تو آنکھیں لال کرتا ہے
خیر کہہ کر نا اسکو ٹالو میاں !
میں سمجھتا ہوں تم سمجھتے ہو
مجھ کو اس وہم سے نکالو میاں !
