بڑھانے سوزشِ خاطر مرے دلدار آتے ہیں
خبرپھیلی ہوٸی تھی کُو بہ کُو میری علالت کی
مگرپھر بھی عیادت کو فقط اغیار آتے ہیں
حوادث نے لگائی آگ جس دم آشیانے کو
بجھانے حلقۂ یاراں لٸے انگار آتے ہیں
فریب ومکر کا لقمہ بنے جب مال و زر میرے
عدو کے سنگ اپنے بھی بنے حقدار آتے ہیں
عیوبِ نفس پر جن کے ردا اوڑھے رکھی ہم نے
تقابل میں ہمارے وہ لٸے کردار آتے ہیں !!
ہمارے قتل پر پروانۂ بخشش ہوا جس دم
چھپاکر آستیں میں یار مَن تلوار آتے ہیں
یہ دنیا ہے یہاں پر سادگی اچھی نہیں سالک
یہاں کے لوگ دوجے سے بڑے فنکار آتے ہیں
دیا غم کا جلانے کو چلے غمخوار آتے ہیں
بڑھانے سوزشِ خاطر مرے دلدار آتے ہیں
