اے خدا عطا کر دے جھوپڑی مدینے میں
عمر بھر کروں گا میں نوکری مدینے میں

سب کی یہ تمنا تھی کاش میرے گھر ٹھہرے
مصطفیؐ کی جب پہنچی اونٹنی مدینے میں

یوں تو کُل جہاں پر ہےفیضِ مصطفیؐ لیکن
ہر جگہ سے افزوں ہے دلکشی مدینے میں

دل کی یہ تمنا ہے، موت جب مری آئے
سانس اے خدا میں لوں آخری مدینے میں

زائرینِ طیبہ سے میں نے یہ سنا شاہدؔ
رحمتوں کی بارش ہے ہر گھڑی مدینے میں

اے خدا عطا کر دے جھوپڑی مدینے میں
عمر بھر کروں گا میں نوکری مدینے میں
